Design & Construction

Creek Side Village homes will use materials manufactured in an energy-efficient manner, utilize recycled content whenever possible.  All waste/excess  material,  materials will be recycled rather than sent to a landfill, to the maximum extent possible.  Fresh air: A typical new home can off-gas up to 22 pounds of harmful volatile organic compounds into the air, and this off-gassing can continue for years. Our Homes are built and designed with products having no off-gassing or mould-generating potential. Indoor paints and stains are zero-VOC, flooring choices consist of wood, tile, and other hard surfaces.

Sustainable Materials

• High efficient natural gas furnaces, air conditioners and water heaters, with programmable controls
• All toilets, showers and faucets are low flow
• Rainwater catchment systems will provide water for gardens
• Energy Star Rated Appliances
• LED lighting where possible
• Power Pipe - the unit captures heat in the drain water and pre-warms the cold water refilling the water heating tank, reducing hot water heating costs by up to 40 percent.

Development and Construction will be completed in planned phases as to minimize impacts during the build out phase.  Once the first phase has been completed, there will be designated truck routes keeping industrial traffic away from completed areas.
