Details are important. It's the small things that matter, and the houses in CSV are built with these small things in mind. From stone and brick exteriors to 9-foot ceilings, double car garages to granite countertops, and with an integration of technology and smart home features, our homes are designed to surpass the expectations of all.
But the details go beyond the finishings. The houses are purpose built to allow residents to age in place. The focus is on single story living, with all homes being one story with a full height basement. Accessibility is at the forefront with stair-free entrances in the garage, beautifully tiled roll-in showers in the bathroom, wide door frames throughout and reinforced walls permitting the easy addition of grab bars if needed. Lawn care and snow clearing is provided for safety and convenience. CSV is considering options such as heated driveways and walkways to minimize the risk of falls during winter. The inclusion of natural gas back-up generators in homes will permit residents to continue their routine in the event of any power failure.
The details however, go beyond the individual homes. CSV is designed to offer residents incredible access to nature with walking trails through the bordering conservation area and a focus on green space within the development. A highly walkable neighbourhood, gives residents the ability to move throughout the development at their leisure. At the heart of the village, a community centre; complete with large common rooms, banquet hall, a gym and indoor salt water swimming pool. Residents will have the ability to participate in any of the many social and fitness activities.
CSV is completely dark skies compliant to minimize light pollution and provide a healthier environment for our residents and wildlife alike. Dimming LED streetlights and indirect exterior house lighting not only save money but they also permit a better view of the stars.
Use of permeable paving systems for roadways and driveways provide many environmental benefits, including: drainage and protect against flooding; simulation of natural water drainage patterns; and the reduction of damage due to artificial water run-off to the surrounding ecosystem.
The Creek Side Community will be supported by an onsite state of the art Newterra Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plants, meeting all of the water supply and management needs through the best known available technology.
